The privately-held company added 3,197 new customers in 2006 – a rate of 12.3 customers every working day. Also in 2006, QlikTech maintained its status as the world’s fastest growing BI company, expanded its partner ecosystem, invested in customer relationships with new programs, released significant product enhancements to QlikView and benchmarked its enterprise-class scalability.

Signed on 3,197 new customers in 2006. As of the end of 2006, QlikView has over 245,000 users at 5,436 customers in 86 countries. Among them are Amcor PET Packaging, a leading global packaging company; the Belgian Government Department of Finance, Budget, External Relations and IT; Bristow Group, an international aviation and oil and gas services company based in the UK; Peab AB, one of the Nordic countries' leading construction and civil engineering companies and Simyo, a leading German telecommunications company.
Released QlikView 7.5. Significant enhancements further improved ease-of-use and streamlined the functions of application development and administration. New integration options in 7.5, including support for Web Services, meant that QlikView users can access and analyze information from even more data sources. Additionally, QlikTech introduced the industry’s first usage based pricing. With QlikView 7.5, customers gained the option to purchase licenses on a usage basis – meaning they only have to buy what they use.
Achieved billion-record processing with sub second response times. QlikTech and HP have worked extensively together to optimize QlikView for the dual-core Intel® Itanium® 2 and Xeon® 64-bit platforms. Benchmarking results proved QlikView’s ability to scale to organizations of all sizes.
Recognized by IDC as the fastest growing BI vendor for the third year in a row. In a recent competitive analysis report, “Worldwide Business Intelligence Tools 2005 Vendor Shares,” Dan Vesset, research director, analytics and data warehousing software at IDC, reported that “Over the past three years, QlikTech has seen unequaled acceleration of the acceptance of its technology in business intelligence market.”
QlikView selected as “Best Execution of a Mid-Market IT Solution” by conference attendees at Gartner Midsize Enterprise Summit. IT solutions were evaluated onsite by conference attendees based on depth and breadth of the software solution as well as overall company reputation in the marketplace.
Launched Qonnect, QlikTech’s global partner program. This comprehensive initiative is designed to provide tiered training, development and marketing support for QlikTech’s more than 500 partners around the world. More than 200 companies joined QlikTech’s partner program in 2006, including ADP (Netherlands), Cornerstone Information Systems (US) and QPR Software (Finland).

connects QlikView customers with each other and with QlikTech, giving members the ability to ask and answer questions, discuss technical topics and share QlikViews on the site. Unveiled in late October 2006, QlikCommunity has had more than 18,000 visits with almost 2,000 registered users.
Held first global user and partner conference, Qonnections 2006. More than 300 attendees representing two dozen countries convened in Philadelphia in October. During Qonnections, QlikTech released QlikView Publisher 4, a key component for managing enterprise deployments of QlikView, which streamlines the distribution process, enhances security, and automates updates for QlikView applications without requiring additional IT resources. The company also unveiled QlikView for Communities, which allows for more affordable deployment of QlikView to large communities of external users such as suppliers, partners and customers.
